(Video) Good Ideas In Pure Living with Danny Choo, Hiromi Matsubara & Rie Azu
In partnership with Nissan, PSFK held an event on October 20 2009 to discuss the future of Pure Living in Tokyo. Piers Fawkes, founder of PSFK, moderated a conversation with a panel of Japan-based experts and covered topics that included sustainability, design, urban planning, technology and zero-emission mobility.

Video of the talk can be found (and shared) below. The experts on the panel (left to right) were Hiromi Matsubara (Green Media Activist, Co-founder, Greenz.jp), Rie Azuma (Lifestyle Architect, Azuma Architecture) sat beside an interpreter and Danny Choo (Japan Sub-Culture Authority, Mirai Inc., dannychoo.com).
The panel discussed bringing simplicity and a nature focus back to the forefront of design thinking as well as a return to physicality, face to face interactions and working with our hands. Service and resource sharing were also brought up as a viable way to decrease consumption.
